Beth Q. Canny, PTA

Beth graduated for Naugatuck Valley Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program in 2007 with an Associates Degree in Science. 

While in school she completed an internship at The Hills Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine under the mentorship of Frank Krasowski, PT.  After completing her schooling she returned to The Hills Physical Therapy as a full time PTA to further her training and education.

When not working, Beth enjoys attending her son’s sporting events. She also enjoys reading and cooking.

Lauren Cook Werkhoven, MSPT

Lauren graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2002 with a Masters in Physical Therapy.  She has worked in outpatient orthopedics for the past seven years.  During this time she has focused her continuing education in the treatment of spine pathology with Cyriax training and training in the McKenzie method.  

Lauren has taken courses with emphasis on incorporating yoga and pilates into the rehabilitation setting.  Lauren is also trained in pediatric physical therapy, with an internship at Texas Children's Medical Center and has worked with children in the elementary school setting.

Frank Krasowski, PT

Frank graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut in 1993, with a BS in Physical Therapy.    He has practiced in  Connecticut for his entire career in the outpatient sports medicine environment. 

He has had the opportunity to work for a company affiliated with Hospital of Special Surgery which provided an outstanding education environment through annual symposiums with lectures given by the top orthopedic surgeons in NYC.   He  has also overseen athletic trainers in multiple schools in the Washington, New Milford region.

Frank has attended the Cincinnati Sports Medicine Advances on Knee and Shoulder conference in three of the last eight years, which is regarded as the longest and one of the best Sports Medicine Conferences in the country.  He has earned the respect and recognition from the extended area’s physicians as a specialist in shoulder and knee rehabilitation. 

In his spare time, Frank is an avid cyclist. He also enjoys fishing and wood working.

Gabrielle N. Githens, PT

Gabrielle graduated from Western Carolina University in 2010 with a Masters in Physical Therapy.  She has worked in the acute inpatient rehabilitation and long term care setting since graduating.   During this time, she has focused her continuing education on balance training for the geriatric patient as well as vestibular rehab and post operative recovery for the total knee and hip patient. 

While in school, Gabrielle had the opportunity to work in a sports medicine clinic closely affiliated with local orthopedic surgeons and was able to stand in on many of the most common orthopedic procedures.

Gabrielle is married to a Warren CT native and recently moved here with her family in efforts to further her career in the sports medicine setting.  In her spare time she enjoys gardening and playing with her toddler Finn.
