Frank Krasowski, PT/Owner
Early in his career Frank had the opportunity work with a group affiliated with Hospital of Special Surgery which provided an outstanding education environment. He had the opportunity to learn from some of the top orthopedic surgeons in NYC. Frank has carried that mentorship forward in building his team at The Hills. Frank is a strong believer in interdisciplinary care. Frank is proud to work and collaborate with the areas physicians, athletic training, and health professionals.
Frank leads by life long learning, he has attended multiple advanced training courses including the prestegious Cincinnati Sports Medicine Advances on Knee and Shoulder Conference and Advacned Spinal Manipulation Therapy.
In his spare time, Frank is an avid cyclist, giving him unique rehabilitation perspectives for athletes. He also enjoys fishing and wood working.
Lauren Cook Werkhoven, MSPT
Lauren graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has worked in outpatient orthopedics since 2002 . During this time she has focused her continuing education on the best current treatments of spine pathology. Lauren has extesnive training in Cyriax and McKenzie approaches to back pain. Lauren is also trained in pediatric physical therapy, completing her Pediatric internship atTexas Children's Medical Center.
Gabrielle N. Githens, PT
Gabrielle graduated from Western Carolina University with a Masters in Physical Therapy. She has experience in orthopedics, acute care, and post surgical rehabilitation. She has focused her continuing education on post surgical care, balance and gait disorders, vestibular rehabilitation, and geriatric physical rehabilitation.
Outside of work Gabrielle enjoys time and activity with her family.
Beth Q. Canny, PTA
Beth graduated for Naugatuck Valley Community College’s Physical Therapist Assistant program with an Associates Degree in Science.
While in school she completed an internship at The Hills Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine under the mentorship of Frank Krasowski, PT. After completing her schooling she returned to The Hills Physical Therapy as a full time PTA to further her training and education.
When not working, Beth enjoys attending her son’s sporting events. She also enjoys reading and cooking.
Brian Famigletti, DPT
Brian graduated from the University of Hartford in with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. He has worked in outpatient orthopedics at The Hills since graduating. Brian has focused his continuing education on treatment of spine pathology and extremities attending course work through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy focused on high velocity-low amplitude manipulation. He is pursuing an orthopedic specialty certification (OCS) as well as continued certification in advanced spinal manipulation through the Spinal Manipulation Institute. In his spare time he enjoys running, cycling and hiking with his fiancé and dog.
